There are some products it’s hard to envision in a new way until somebody comes along and reimagines it. The Link Flip shoe takes the whole concept of footwear and changes everything. These unique shoes offer ventilation and comfort without sacrificing safety and support, making them an ideal choice for life in fast-paced and crowded urban environments.
Freedom and Flexibility
Founded by Yehuda Azoulay and Elad Rash, this new take on footwear strives to combine the freedom and flexibility of a flip-flop with the stability and support of a traditional shoe. The result is a shoe that looks like nothing you’ve seen before. While the design won’t be for everyone, the unique style is sure to catch people’s attention.
Connects with Foot Bottom
Believe it or not, Azoulay had horses in mind when he came up with the idea. While the shoe looks nothing like a horseshoe and definitely doesn’t need to be nailed to the foot, the idea of a functional shoe that only connects with the bottom of the foot eventually became the Link Flip.
Fashion + Safety + Stability
When wearing a flip-flop, you can easily stub your toe. It’s tough if not impossible to ride a bike, scooter, or skateboard while wearing flip-flops. The Link Flip shoe takes the things people enjoy about flip-flop wear while providing protection and safety for life on the go. In addition to offering a cutting edge new style along with stability and safety, some are looking forward to a different kind of comfort due to the unique design. Unlike flip-flops and other sandals, no part of the Link Flip shoe involves straps or constraints around the toes.
Success with Crowdfunding
Like many popular products today, the Link Flip shoe is being launched through the power of crowdfunding. Using the platform Indiegogo to get off the ground, the Link team is hoping to build enough traction to sell the shoes on other platforms going forward. The new shoe brand gained enough interest to raise over $100K from just a little over 1,000 contributors.
